What this site is

This is the website of Byrd Financial, a Texas financial services company built around licensed professionals. The site does two things. It shows you who we are, and it explains insurance in plain words. The articles say where their facts come from, and a licensed agent writes and reviews them. They are here to teach, not to sell.

Recommendations

What to buy is personal. It depends on your health, your family, and your budget. So a recommendation comes only from a licensed professional who has talked with you. These pages teach; they do not know you. Some questions deserve their own professional: a will calls for a lawyer, and taxes call for a tax professional. When a question is theirs, we say so, and we help you get to the right person.

Who we are

Byrd Financial is a Texas company. Insurance is offered only through our licensed Texas agents. Mickie Byrd, our founder, holds Texas license #3519112. The agency itself holds Texas license #3526732.

Text messages

We text you only if you asked us to. You can ask by checking a box, by giving us your number for a code, by saying yes to reminders when your policy starts, or by texting JOIN to 844-297-3346.

What we send: a one-time code when you verify a signature, reminders about your own policy, updates you asked for, replies to texts you send us, and answers about working with us. How often depends on what you asked for. We do not send ads.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time and the texts end. Reply HELP and we send you our phone number. Saying yes to texts is never a condition of buying anything.

Facts change

Laws change, and published numbers change. Each article carries the date it was last reviewed, and a licensed agent reviews it again when things move.
