What this site is

This site is here to teach. Our articles name where every fact comes from, and a person reviews each one. Nothing on the site is legal, tax, or money advice. Nothing on it tells you to buy a policy.

Recommendations

Only a licensed person can recommend insurance. That happens in a conversation, not on a page.

Who we are

Insurance products are offered through licensed Texas agents. Byrd Financial is a licensed Texas agency, license #3519112. You can check that number with the Texas Department of Insurance.

Text messages

We text you only if you asked us to. You can ask by checking a box, by giving us your number for a code, by saying yes to reminders when your policy starts, or by texting JOIN to 844-297-3346.

What we send: a one-time code when you verify a signature, reminders about your own policy, updates you asked for, replies to texts you send us, and answers about working with us. How often depends on what you asked for. We do not send ads.

Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP at any time and the texts end. Reply HELP and we send you our phone number. Saying yes to texts is never a condition of buying anything.

Facts change

Laws change. Published numbers change. Each article carries a reviewed date, and a person reviews it again. Even so, your own family's situation always needs its own answer.
